Einar Steensnæs was appointed new chair of the board in the general meeting of Gassnova SF on 29 June 2011. Einar Steensnæs served as Minister of Petroleum and Energy from 2001 to 2004 and has also served as chair of the board of Norsk Gassenter. He is currently a senior advisor at the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights.

Einar Steensnæs was appointed new chair of the board in the general meeting of Gassnova SF on 29 June 2011. Einar Steensnæs served as Minister of Petroleum and Energy from 2001 to 2004 and has also served as chair of the board of Norsk Gassenter. He is currently a senior advisor at the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights. Gassnova’s Board now consists of six members: Einar Steensnæs(Chairman), Endre Skjørestad, Gro Seim, Ellen Cathrine Rasmussen, Bjørn Sund and Liv Lønne Dille (representing employees).
