The work of charting the values the full-scale project generates, as well as making sure that the values are actually realised, is referred to as benefits realisation. Anyone with a role in the Norwegian full-scale project is committed to contributing to the benefits realisation. Gassnova is leading the work.

The project can generate value for the community through four dimensions:

  • Demonstrate that full-scale CO2-handling is possible and safe
  • Provide cost reductions for upcoming projects
  • Facilitate business development
  • Reduce CO2 emissions
